Rural Innisfil Real Estate
Due north of the city of Toronto, and a bit to the south of the city of Barrie, the municipality of Innisfil is essentially sandwiched between the two cities, but that has worked out for the better for Innisfil in the long run. Innisfil has a name deriving from an ancient Irish name for Ireland (Inis Fail). The constant growth of Barrie and Toronto has helped Innisfil grow as well; thanks to the Highway 400, tourists and industry quickly flourished within the town and municipality and today, Innisfil continues to benefit from the presence of both cities.
There are plenty of real estate for sale options available if you are interested in making Innisfil your home. You will have access to a wealth of family homes, plenty of interesting detached homes, as well as prime-location townhomes that would leave any other potential property investor green with envy. For commercial investments, there are vacant lots available for sale in strategic locations that are quite enticing to property developers.
8 different schools (4 public/elementary schools, 2 high/secondary schools, as well as 2 Catholic schools), along with a number of extracurricular activities (such as a racetrack and casino) will all help contribute to making home buyers time spent here much better. You will be able to benefit from having access to a number of parks (5, to be exact), where you will be able to enjoy all that comes with seeing a different side of nature. One of these parks (Innisfil Beach Park) giving residents access to beautiful Lake Simcoe, where you would have access to numerous activities, both on land and in the water.
One thing that Innisfil has as a unique benefit is that, if for whatever reason, you will be very close to places like Barrie, where there are plenty of festivals and fairs and alternative shopping venues.
If you are in need of medical attention, there is a small clinic at the east side of Innisfil that you can go to. If it’s a worse situation, there is a hospital in nearby Barrie.
One of the best things about the town of Innisfil is that you can dine in at The Cove Café, which is a place where everyone goes for their home-cooked meals. If you’re looking for a trip further out into the country, the Highway 400 can take you so far north that you can actually almost get to Sudbury, which will be definitely worth a trip.
